This study presents modelling and analysis of a new magneto-mechanical (MM) oscillator (Wiercigroch et al., 2020), which pays special attention to mechanical magnetic nonlinearities for large amplitude responses. The is comprised box structure made two parallel leaf springs with one end fixed the other clamped proof mass, an electromagnetic actuator. A solenoid permanent magnet are main parts actuator, acts directly on mass providing accurate versatile excitation by varying intensity frequency input current. model beam deflection based up constitutive relation nonlinear theory. design actuator pair identical solenoids concept quasi-constant force (QCF) proposed, aims generate nearly constant mathematical MM systematically developed discussed different types excitations depending designs parameters undertaken dynamics demonstrates versatility wide spectrum excitations. prediction from were validated previous work (Costa 2020). exemplify that provides range patterns can be used experimentally subtle phenomena.
